
Dr. Ali Fakih
Ali is the Statistics and Methodology Advisor at SurveySaviors. He is also a Professor and the Chair of the Department of Economics at Lebanese American University. His academic journey includes fellowships at prestigious institutions such as the Economic Research Forum (ERF), IZA Institute of Labor Economics, Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Analysis of Organizations (CIRANO), and the Global Labor Organization (GLO).
Ali earned his PhD in Economics from HEC Montréal in 2011. He specializes in a wide range of fields, including Labor Economics, Development Economics, Econometrics, the Finance-Growth Nexus, and Political Transformations, particularly in MENA economies. His extensive research has been published in renowned international journals like the Journal of Econometrics, Review of Political Economy, and International Migration, among others.
As the Statistics and Methodology Advisor for SurveySaviors, Ali offers strategic guidance on statistical analysis and research design. His role involves enhancing the methodological rigor of the projects, leveraging his extensive background in econometrics and economics. This consultancy ensures that SurveySaviors’ research initiatives meet the highest standards of accuracy and relevance, drawing on state-of-the-art analytical techniques and scholarly insight.
